Profile/ Areas of Interest:Jason has spent over 10 years working in the media industry. He started his career as a Radio Presenter with Power98 FM before becoming then-WKRZ 91.3FM's Assistant Vice President and Music Director.He has also worked with record companies Avex Trax and Warner Music as Strategic Marketing Manager, responsible for putting together CD compilations, producing remixes and signing artists.In 2010, he stumbled upon an opportunity to teach in China through a joint partnership Ngee Ann signed with Wuhan University of Science & Technology. What started as a 1- year posting to Wuhan became a 6-year stint after he fell in love all over again with Chinese culture and rediscovered his own ethnicity. Having returned to Singapore in 2016,he still remains a keen China watcher and zealously travels back to the Mainland several times a year (before Covid-19) to touch base with friends and keep abreast of China’s changing landscape and use of technology. Jason aspires to be a polymath and is a certified trainer and practitioner in TESOL, Cultural Intelligence (CQ), ICAgile facilitation and Industrial Relations.

Profile/Areas of Interest:
Stella Thng Suat Ling first joined Ngee Ann Polytechnic as a Corporate Communications Manager. She joined the School of Interdisciplinary Studies in 2010, where she is currently a Senior Lecturer and Continuing Education & Training trainer. Specialising in communication and interdisciplinary project work, Stella has taught tertiary students and adult learners from Singapore, China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and Brazil. She is trained in facilitation techniques, Problem-based Learning and is a certified Associate Adult Educator with the Institute for Adult Learning. She is also the recipient of two teaching awards from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.A former magazine editor with MediaCorp, Stella Thng has helmed teams in Singapore and Malaysia, covering diverse genres such as lifestyle, entertainment, health, food, travel, property investment and parenting. She is the author of the book ‘Cancer Warriors’ and the founder of the community project of the same name. Awarded the Young ChangeMakers Grant by Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, with sales proceeds benefiting local cancer charities, it was widely featured in newspapers, magazines, television, radio and local and foreign websites, and received a letter of commendation from PM Lee Hsien Loong.
